One Lovely Blog Award

Thank you so much to Bernadine at Bern Bakes for nominating me for the One Lovely Blog Award! She has some awesome recipes on her blog and is one of the friendliest bloggers I’ve met. Check her out!

Here are the rules:

  • Thank the person that nominated you and leave a link to their blog
  • Post about the award
  • Share 7 facts about yourself
  • Nominate at most 15 people
  • Tell your nominees the good news!

Seven Facts About Me

1. Peanut butter is my favorite food. It has to be creamy and all natural though.

2. According to Pottermore I am a Ravenclaw, which doesn’t surprise me in the least.

3. I try to finish every book I start reading. Although I don’t like wasting time on something I don’t like, I also feel bad putting a book down in case it’s about to start getting better.

4. With the exception of the occasional live sporting broadcast, I don’t watch TV.

5. My favorite video game franchise is Assassin’s Creed.

6. I am a left-handed redhead, which I think puts me in quite the minority.

7. I don’t know proper swimming technique, which makes my bucket list goal of a triathlon quite difficult.

My nominees:

Jey at Thursday in August, for her stunningly beautiful blog and her radiant personality.

Fatty McCupcakes, for her comedic brilliance.

Paul E. Bailey, for his eclectic topics and depth of thought. Be sure to check out his thrilling zombie apocalypse series!

Chrissey at Unabridged Sass, for her general awesomeness and ability to be a baller while keeping things real.

An Historian About Town, for her beautiful lifestyle posts, knack for fashion, and love of history and architecture.

Ian Shepard at Adventure Rules, for his in depth gaming posts.

Cultivating Time, for her focus on wellness and self-care.

Thanks again and congrats to the nominees!!

xoxo Charlotte

  1. Oh WOW thanks Charlotte for nominating me and my blog! Just noticed it. I love your 7 facts also. As you know I also hardly watch any TV at all. I love peanut butter as well, but I really think that’s also a reason why I break out every now and then. Haha great list. Looking forward to read more in the future. I will check out the other nominated blogs asked well. Thanks for sharing and have a lovely week ahead!🤗🌸🌼🌻🌺

  2. I love peanut butter, but only true PB and not Reese’s cups or anything like that! Also I am a Slytherin, which is unsurprising to me hahahaha. Thanks so much for the nomination and for the love, I will be writing my post soon! 💚💚💚

  3. Thank you very much for the nomination 🙂 I’m in the process of working on my acceptance right now and realised I didn’t actually comment on the post itself. Your fifth fact; you have no idea how many cool points you’ve earned. Totally my favourite game series too. Laa shay’a waqui’n moutlaq bale kouloun moumkine 😉 Your final fact, I could totally assist in the swimming technique department. Which one of us is going to fly over the Atlantic to the other? Haha.

Congratulations on your award. You’re thoroughly deserving of it!

    • You are so welcome and so deserving!! And Assassin’s Creed is the best, isn’t it?! I am on a severe gaming backlog at the moment and still working on playing through AC:Syndicate. Once I do, be on the lookout for my review (spoiler alert: I’m loving it).

And haha any swimming tutelage is needed!! I reckon I look like a drowning toad when I manage to flail my way across a swimming pool.

      • My only issue with ACS is how often it crashes. I completed the game a few weeks ago and it is really good. Then I went to play the Jack the Ripper add on and the crashing issue is at least three times as bad. So bad that I’ve dropped it. It’s a shame something like that has to ruin it. I was thinking of reviewing it too, but I’m sure how I feel about being a critic personally.
It’s never too late to take lessons you know. Swimming is such a good, rewarding sport and the best way to keep fit as it exercises every part of the body

      • Agreed! Thankfully, Ubisoft have started to realize that cranking out a new AC installment every October was starting to come at the expense of quality.

Have you seen the film yet? I’m intrigued yet skeptical.

      • Ubisoft should be using GTA as a model, but with the inclusion of single player DLC’s. Put a tonne of effort into one game and make it a big one. The missions are always really rather too quick to end for me and they seem to think having a tonne of chests and other such collectibles to hunt down adds a decent variant of length and challenge, but it doesn’t. It’s just annoying. Less collectibles, more in depth missions and in greater number. That’s what we want. It’s what I want anyway.

Not seen the movie, but haven’t heard anything good about it so far. The main gripe seems to be that they’ve packed too much in and it lacks depth as a result. I can believe it. Two hours doesn’t sound long enough for an AC movie for me
