Man you guys, attending a conference in Sin City is exhausting!! As I write this, I’m cradling a grande full-caff latte (normally I drink half-caff) and trying to suppress a yawn.
I still haven’t gotten used to the time difference, but my networking obligations have kept me out late each night.
On the first evening, there was a networking party out by some gorgeous pools.
The food was spectacular, especially the dessert. Y’all know how much I love macarons!
They fed us quite well here in general. Normally I eat a light breakfast of cereal and coffee when I’m at home, so the hot breakfast buffet was very indulgent. They even had those cute but wasteful little mini glass bottles of ketchup for everyone!
Another night my hosts took us all out dancing at a nightclub they rented out for the evening. I looooooove breaking it down on the dance floor, so I had a lot of fun. The club had both an indoor and outdoor section, with the outdoor part being a rooftop pool and bar overlooking the strip.
I danced the night away until my poor feet ached and I lost the feather boa I had donned. After a late night stop at a ridiculously overpriced Starbucks, I headed to bed for a few precious hours of sleep before yet another crazy day.
For now I’ve got to run, but I hope you all enjoy reading the live Vegas blogging!
Until next time,
