“Complements of Mickey Mouse,” says the elegantly dressed server as he hands me and Dear Husband a glass of champagne.
Little touches like this — personalized greetings and congratulatory champagne — are just some of the reasons I absolutely love Disney.

We’ve been here for two days now, staying at the Grand Floridian, and I couldn’t be more pleased.
Usually we stay off property when we come, but this time we decided to splurge on a deluxe resort with club level service, and let me tell you, it is SO worth it!!

Last night we had dinner at Cítrico’s, and it did not disappoint! After a long day of running around the Magic Kingdom, it felt nice to tuck into an exquisite dinner of exotic cheeses, fine wine, roasted chicken for me, and seared scallops for The Mister.

Now it’s Tuesday morning, and the sun has been up for a full hour now. I got a wake up call from The Mouse himself this morning when it was still dark, so that I could go on a sunrise run along the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon.
Seeing the sun rise above Cinderella Castle was, well, magical.

Now I’m sipping on my morning coffee, waiting for my other half to wake up, so that we can enjoy a character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare.
Stay tuned!
xoxo, Charlotte
