Raindrops on roses and whiskers on — what a sec! I think someone already wrote that list…Hmmm. I guess I’ll just have to jot down my own “happy list!” 🙂
In no particular order:
- Black coffee (scalding hot, thankyouverymuch)
- Running along a tree-lined trail
- Sunrises
- Squirrels
- The sound of leaves crunching underfoot in the fall
- Holding Dear Boyfriend’s hand
- Horseback riding
- Red wine (except Shiraz, blech!)
- Jumping on a trampoline
- Writing in a composition notebook
- Good ink pens
- New York Times crossword puzzles
- Peanut butter (creamy, all natural)
- The sound of an orchestra warming up
- Monogrammed stationery
- Laughing so hard you snort
- When the sun peeks through the clouds and I imagine it’s my mom looking down on me just like how Pippi Longstocking says her mom does
- Statistical programming
- The smell of fresh pine needles
- Video games (preferably RPGs or action/adventure)
- Steampunk anything
- Sci fi conventions
- Rose gold
- Manicures
- Baking blueberry muffins from scratch
- Fresh flowers
What’s on your list? 🙂
Rainy days, alone time, listening to music on the bus/train and foooood.

I love rainy days as well, particularly very dark rainy days.

Aw I really like the bit with the sun breaking through the clouds. I sooooooooo want a massive trampoline so I can jump up and down and go crazy.

Oh my gosh me too!!! Too bad liability insurance on them (at least here in the States) is through the roof. And thank you! I watched the old Pippy Longstocking films on repeat as a child and always loved that bit, so when I lost my mom the breaks in the clouds always remind me of her. 🙂
